Due to the Trump Administration's border separation policy, the USA has now forfeited any and all moral authority that it once might have had on the world stage. Thankfully, the USA has now withdrawn from the United Nations Human Rights Council. Even in respect to that thoroughly corrupt and hypocritical body, having nothing but a name to its credit, the USA does not merit a seat. And so two questions cannot be escaped today. Does the world as a whole have a moral compass? And what will become of us if there be no one in political power who is truly worthy of respect?

I am guessing you do not have much respect for Trump; however, i am curious where you think the USA's moral compass was set prior to Trumps tenure as President. While I haven't spend a lot of time following political news lately, it seems that Trump has a few redeeming qualities. For instance, while I am not privvy to his thoughts, Trump does seems to follow through with what he says. That is his words and actions are in accord. It seems that having an open borders policy after decades of being the primary military force behind what might be described as economic neo colonial conquest does not make sense from a internal security perspective. How that is managed is something that might be discussed openly; however, has it changed much under consecutive governments?
